What is GreenMetric?
The GreenMetric World University Rankings is an international assessment system created by the University of Indonesia (Universitas Indonesia) that measures universities' environmental sustainability performance. The assessment, which also aims to raise awareness of global climate change among universities and communities, is based on criteria such as infrastructure and campus layout, energy management and climate change, waste management, water management, transportation, and education and research. The system aims to highlight universities' work in sustainability areas such as energy conservation, water efficiency, waste recycling, and environmental awareness.
