Our Faculty’s Final Project Poster Presentation for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

Our Faculty’s now-traditional Final Project Poster Presentations event was held for the fourth time during the 2025–2026 academic year, with great enthusiasm and high attendance. As part of the event, 77 scientific posters prepared by internship students were displayed.

The Rector of Balıkesir University, Prof. Dr Yücel OĞURLU, also attended the poster presentation event and examined the students’ work first-hand. Rector Prof. Dr Yücel OĞURLU was accompanied by Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr Cevdet AVCIKURT and Prof. Dr Fatih SATIL.

Accompanied by the Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr Ziya İLHAN, Rector Prof. Dr Yücel OĞURLU toured the poster exhibition, speaking one-to-one with students to learn about the work they had carried out. Emphasising that the university administration closely monitors students’ academic activities and attaches great importance to such events, Prof. Dr. OĞURLU congratulated the intern students and the academic staff who supervised them on their work.

The poster presentations held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Balıkesir University, were evaluated following a vote by the academic staff. According to the voting results:

1st place went to Salih TUTUK for project VFBÖ-26.10,

2nd place went to Dilara BÜLBÜL for project VFBÖ-26.71,

and 3rd place went to Gamze Sıla USLU for project VFBÖ-26.18.

These final-year projects, each involving original research, provided a valuable platform for students to demonstrate their scientific output by combining their theoretical knowledge with practical application. The poster presentations were followed with great interest by the academic jury and attendees.
