BAÜN Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Academic Support for the Agriculture and Livestock Fair
The 2nd Balıkesir Agriculture and Livestock Fair, held this year, brought together producers, industry representatives and academics.
Faculty members from Balıkesir University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine contributed to the four-day Fair event by serving as panellists, jury members, and moderators in seminars. Our faculty and the Livestock Application and Research Centre met directly with producers at their stands. 🐑🐄.
📌 Visitors' questions about animal health and production processes were answered by academics.
📌 Faculty members from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine contributed their scientific knowledge and expertise to the evaluation process in the Breeding Ram competition, which was organised to promote pure breeding and showcase animals with high genetic value.
With the participation of BAUN Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Ziya İLHAN, Prof. Dr. Şükrü Metin PANCARCI, Prof. Dr. Ergün DEMİR, Prof. Dr. Recai KULAKSIZ, and Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murad GÜRSES, our Faculty provided scientific contributions to regional agriculture and animal husbandry.
Throughout the fair, our faculty members supported the sector with their knowledge and expertise in the areas of animal health, herd management, pure breeding, and the promotion of valuable animals from a genetic perspective.
