Our Faculty Veterinary Hospital continues to add value not only to animal health but also to regional animal husbandry and veterinary medicine education with its increasing service quality and capacity each year. The Animal Hospital, operating within our Faculty, provided healthcare services to a total of 2,996 sick animals in 2025, conducting 4,559 examinations, diagnoses and treatments, thereby making significant contributions to regional animal husbandry. With these results, the number of sick animals increased from 1,993 in 2024 to 2,996 in 2025, representing an approximate 50% increase in the number of patients.

Our Faculty Animal Hospital offers treatment for farm, exotic and wild animals, primarily cats and dogs. Thanks to effective treatment protocols applied for various diseases at the Animal Hospital, many animals have regained their health. In addition, the fight against parasitic and zoonotic diseases is being resolutely pursued within the scope of vaccination and preventive medicine services.

In 2025, the number of patients applying to the Animal Hospital, which opened its doors to an average of 250 patients per month, increased every year, with 1,284 cats, 1,196 dogs, 221 cattle, 165 sheep -goats, 93 exotic animals (birds, rabbits, hamsters, etc.), 27 horses, and 10 wild animals (squirrels, raccoons, seagulls, hawks, etc.) were treated.

Thanks to our faculty and veterinary hospital's expert academic staff, we have continued to serve patients from different regions of our country, not limited to the Balıkesir area. Our specialist teams, which take a solution-oriented approach to pet owners' problems, offer effective solutions using the latest diagnostic and treatment methods.

The services provided at the hospital include examination, diagnosis, treatment, medical imaging, surgical procedures, artificial insemination, genetic analysis, necropsy, bacteriological, virological and parasitological analyses, food analysis, feed analysis and comprehensive laboratory tests.
